Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail have been added to the list of probables by Pakistan’s interim selection committee for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Both players passed their fitness test before being added to the roster, according to Shahid Afridi, the temporary selection committee’s chairman.

The total number of probables for the ODIs against New Zealand has increased to 24 as a result of the addition of these two players. The 16-person final squad will be revealed the following week.

“Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail passed their fitness tests today, so we have added them to the NZ probables list. The two are also participating in the Pakistan Cup and doing well, according to Afridi, who posted pictures of the players’ fitness tests on social media.

On January 9, 11, and 13, the limited-overs series will be played at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, where the first Test of the two-match series is currently being played.

Additionally, Sharjeel Khan and Shan Masood, who participated in five ODIs in the UAE against Australia in 2019, have been added to the probables list.

Abrar Ahmed, Aamer Jamal, Ihsanullah, Kamran Ghulam, Qasim Akram, and Tayyab Tahir are the six players chosen by the selectors who have not yet played in an ODI.
