- Security of Parliament House has been beefed up
- Police have banned the entry of unauthorized people
- Standing committee meetings have also been postponed
ISLAMABAD: Following the recent wave of terrorism in Pakistan, the security of the Parliament House has been beefed up by the federal government and FC personnel have been deployed.
The capital police have banned the entry of unauthorized people into the premises of Parliament House.
Not only this, the standing committee meetings have also been postponed in wake of the recent wave.
Pertinently, after the suicide attack that took place in the federal capital days ago, a ‘special security plan’ has been devised by the police.
Given the current security threat, the law enforcement agency has said that at least 25 temporary security check posts have been established at different locations in Islamabad.
Moreover, foreigners are also advised to carry their identification documents with them and the locals must register tenants and employees at the police station.
The police also warned the vehicle owners with illegal number plates and unregistered vehicles and said that strict action will be taken.
