PAK vs NZ: Ish Sodhi and Michael Bracewell took early wickets for New Zealand on day 5 of the first Test match between New Zealand and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s struggles continued throughout the day.
The night watchman, Nauman Ali, was taken by Bracewell earlier, when he and Imam-ul-Haq had contributed just five runs to the overnight score of 77-2. Bracewell then took Nauman Ali. Four laps were completed by the left-arm pacer.
Babar was taken out by Sodhi with a leg before wicket catch in just 38 minutes on the final day of the match. This was Sodhi’s second success of the innings.
Babar requested a review, but it was granted to New Zealand, which brought Pakistan’s score down to 100-4 within the first 38 minutes of the game that decided the contest.
