Christine Brown may have moved on from her polygamous family, but she hasn’t given up on reality television.
After divorcing her husband, Kody Brown, the “Sister Wives” star, 50, declared she would “absolutely not be leaving” the TLC program.
Before showcasing the basement of her Utah house, where she had built up a confessional set, she delivered the news in a TikTok video.
She clarified, “In actuality, this is the set in my house! I’m overjoyed. You will adore it! So this is where I sit, as you can see behind me. Behind me, the producer is seated at the gorgeous desk that he built.
She continued by calling her “unfinished” basement her “favourite room in the house” as a mother of six children.
The news that Christine was leaving her 25-year “spiritual union” with Kody, who was also married to Meri, Robyn, and Janelle Brown, was revealed more than a year ago.
In November of last year, she took the difficult decision to depart, saying on Instagram, “Kody and I have grown apart.”
“As we raise our lovely children and take care of our amazing family, we will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s life. As we move through this stage in our family, we now ask for your love and grace.
Christine’s choice to end their relationship, according to Kody, 53, was made with “a great degree of sadness.”
“I have a great deal of respect and affection for her, and we had a lot of fun together throughout the years. We will always be committed parents even though we are going in different directions, the father of 18 remarked at the time on Instagram.
Meri, 51, and Janelle, 53, similarly expressed their decision to leave the family patriarch a little over a year after Christine made her separation announcement.
