T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach, co-anchors of “Good Morning America 3,” were spotted together for the first time following the announcement of the latter’s divorce from wife Marilee Fiebig.
Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, looked inseparable in images obtained exclusively as they returned to New York City on Thursday after spending the holidays together.
After spending time in Atlanta and Miami during the Christmas break, the pair entered the airport wearing matching blue jeans, black coats, and dark sunglasses.
Robach and Holmes’ relationship is intensifying as he gets ready to officially divorce his 2010 second wife, Fiebig.
After nearly 13 years of marriage, Holmes filed the paperwork on Wednesday. The 12-year-old daughter of 45-year-old Holmes and Fiebig is named Sabine.
Fiebig, an immigration lawyer, was allegedly “blindsided” by her husband’s alleged romance with his on-air coworker, according to a source we previously spoke to.
According to our insider, they had been apart for a while but were still attempting to “work things out” in late November, when rumours of the purported office romance surfaced.
“She is in shock. Our source stated that the two “were only together for T.J.’s birthday [on August 19]” and that “she had no knowledge.”
Since then, Holmes and Robach have been placed on paid leave while an ABC inquiry into their relationship is conducted.
While preparing for the New York City Half Marathon, the two allegedly started dating in March. They were afterwards photographed flirting and getting handsy with one other while walking around Manhattan.
Robach is wed to “Melrose Place” actor Andrew Shue, but we’re informed that their divorce is set to be finalized.
Tim McIntosh, a former MLB player, was her previous husband from 1996 to 2008. Ava, born in 2002, and Analise, born in 2006, are their two children.
Shue, 55, whom Robach married in 2010, deleted all images of her from his Instagram account days after the news of the relationship broke.
Robach relocated earlier this month from their West Village flat to a location further downtown. While an ABC inquiry into their relationship is ongoing, Holmes and Robach have been placed on administrative leave.
