Police pulled over a man in Nottinghamshire after noticing that he was operating a vehicle without one of its wheels.
The Renault was still driving with just three wheels, according to Nottinghamshire Police, which called this “pretty astonishing.”
Before worried citizens reported the car, the vehicle had been spotted in the Ollerton neighbourhood.
According to police, the driver has been reported for the “completely absurd” offence.
Nottinghamshire Roads Policing Unit saidon Facebook: “When we heard the radio transmission of a car being driven without a wheel we made our way over. Response officers spotted it first and got it to stop.
“How it was still moving was quite unbelievable. Even more unbelievable was how far the driver thought he was going to get in it. We then informed him that he wasn’t going anywhere in it.”
