  • International flights have been shifted to Islamabad
  • The operations to resume after condition gets better

LAHORE: Intensified foggy conditions in Lahore have disrupted flight operations at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. Several flights were delayed due to poor visibility in the city.

The details have surfaced that four international flights were diverted to Islamabad as the visibility at the runway dropped. The flights were to take off for Istanbul, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi and Medina that shifted to Islamabad.

Given the delay in flights, the PIA spokesperson advised the passengers to contact the PIA call center at (021) 111 786 786 to get timely information about flights.

Earlier as well, the international flights from the Allama Iqbal International Airport were shifted to Islamabad due to fog.

The national flag carrier announced that the decision was taken due to intense fog and announced that flight operations will be restored as soon as the conditions get better.

The PIA spokesman made it clear that the arrangement for shifting the flight operations had been made temporarily in order to avoid inconvenience.
