Netizens rate UK man’s rava idli and sambhar video 10/10 went viral on Instagram. In a recent video he released online, he can be seen preparing sambhar and rava idli, proving that his enthusiasm for Indian food hasn’t vanished. Dryan begins the viral Instagram reel by cooking some toor dal and adding a few spices to it. As the video progresses, we see him preparing batter by combining semolina, yoghurt, and tadka. He then creates his own sambhar masala and adds it to the vegetables. He plates sambhar and idli with salad near the end, and everything looks delicious.
“Rava idli & sambar. I think I’ve got the sambar down now, let me know. I made normal idli the other week so I wanted to try another variety… Rava (semolina) idli are easier to make and taste VERY similar even though originally from Karnataka,” Jake Dryan commented on Instagram while posting the video. Dryan enjoys cooking, as evidenced by his Instagram page, and is now preparing dishes from every Indian state. So far, he has visited Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Karnataka. He is currently preparing popular meals from Tamil Nadu, India.
