The Princess of Wales told a young fan that she and her children had a “lovely” Christmas and got lots of nice gifts, even though they got up “quite early” that morning.
King Charles, Kate and William, and their three kids, George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, all went to the Christmas Day service at Sandringham church with King Charles.
In a short video clip, Kate can be seen walking up to a little girl named India and thanking her as the girl hands the Princess of Wales a bouquet of flowers.
Kate asked India: “Have you had a nice morning, has father Christmas been?”, to which India replied “yes, have you? Kate said: “I’ve had a lovely morning, thank you very much. I had quite an early start this morning.
Another person in the crowd joined in and can be heard asking, “Did the kids get a lot of nice things?”
The Princess said, “They got a lot of nice things,” and then she moved on.
On Christmas Day, George, Charlotte, and Louis were seen taking gifts from fans who were waiting outside.
People say that Prince William talked about the kids’ gifts while he was talking to the crowds outside Sandringham church.
Hilary Marsh, 71, from Suffolk, was also in the crowd. She said, “I asked William if Father Christmas had been for the children, and he smiled and said, ‘They’ve had enough presents.'”
Ms. Clark said she gave each of the three kids a gonk, which is a holiday gnome with a pointy hat, and gave Kate flowers.
She said it was “absolutely wonderful” to meet William, Kate, and their children.
Ms. Clark also said, “I love them so much, especially the kids. The kids are so great.”
