  • The ceremony is expected to be watched by millions of people across the UK and the world.

King Charles III’s archbishop, who will crown him at his coronation, is already experiencing “nightmares.”

The monarch will be crowned on May 6 in a formal ceremony officiated by Justin Welby.

Speaking about his feelings for the ceremony, which is anticipated to be watched by millions, Justin admitted to Channel 4 News that he’s been having dreams of messing up during it.

“It’s giving me nightmares already,” said said.

“I dreamt we got to the point and I’d left the crown at Lambeth Palace. It’s obviously weighing on me quite a lot.

“But it’s just an enormous honour and privilege to do that, and the coronation weekend is going to be a time of bringing the country together,” he continued.

The incoming queen is reportedly preparing a “glorious” coronation with pomp and spectacle despite the cost-of-living issue, according to news reports from a few days ago.

It will be an opportunity to “showcase the very best of the United Kingdom” at the upcoming ceremony “Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s spokesperson stated: “The Palace leads broadly on the programme. This will be a significant planning event.

“We are expecting a huge number of foreign heads of state, international dignitaries and of course there will be a huge amount of involvement from the public as well.

“There is a massive planning element to this which will involve not just police forces but work across all government departments.”
