Dania was arrested by the FIA Cybercrime Wing in Lodhran, Punjab, for reportedly sharing a private video of Aamir Liaquat “without his consent”. Dania Shah, the widow of late TV star and politician Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, filed a bail petition in the Sindh capital.
Shah’s lawyer Liaquat Gabol argued that the allegations against her were false.
She asked the session court for bail, saying the FIA had no proof against her.
A magistrate denied her bail the day before. She was accused of disseminating compromising videos of her late spouse by the FIA’s Cybercrime Wing. After hearing both sides, Judge East denied her relief. Instead, she was jailed on remand.

Dania says she didn’t post a video online. In her last interview, she said Aamir never filed a complaint against her and that she was being accused of stealing her fortune.
