Manoj Muntashir jump the bandwagon of Besharam Rang squabble

  • Manoj Muntashir pointed a ‘mistake’ in the Besharam Rang song for Pathaan.
  • He said if SRK would have changed it if he had noticed it sooner.
  • Manoj said, “If people are hurt, they have certainly committed some mistake.”

Writer Manoj Muntashir has revealed that a ‘mistake’ was made in the creation of the Besharam Rang song for Pathaan and that Shah Rukh Khan would have changed it if he had noticed it sooner.

Since Pathaan’s first song, Besharam Rang, was posted online, Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone, as well as the film’s producers, have become the focus of trolls. While others think the song is filthy, politicians have criticized Deepika’s clothing, which is a saffron bathing suit.

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar about Besharam Rang, Manoj said, “If people are hurt, they have certainly committed some mistake. The error could not be detected and was simply ignored. If the director, the music team or Shah Rukh sir had spotted the error, they would have certainly taken some action.”

Besharam Rang was accused of having a “dirty mindset” by BJP minister Narottam Mishra. The Madhya Pradesh Ulema Board also objected to the film’s release in the state. Syed Anas Ali, President of the MP Ulema Board, also stated that the emotions of “the Muslim community have been hurt” by the film, adding that they will not “allow this film to be released”. Many groups have demanded for the film to be banned, and some have threatened to burn down theatres if it is shown.

While some BJP politicians have backed the trolling and requests for Pathaan to be banned, heavyweights from the Congress and TMC parties, like Nusrat Jahan and Ramya, have backed the musicians.

The song has also received support from within the film business. With Swara Bhasker, Rahul Dholakia, and Onir replying to online trolls and comments. While Prakash Raj also lambasted the bullies. Mukesh Khanna, on the other hand, questioned how the CBFC could approve a song with a ‘deliberate provocative attire’.

Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Shah Rukh Khan. Aditya Chopra is producing the picture, which will be released in theatres on January 25. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Jhoome Jo Pathaan, the film’s second song, was recently released online.
