The UK government discusses plans for King Charles’ coronation

The coronation of King Charles will happen in May of next year. Officials from the government have promised that the event will be a chance to “showcase the best of the United Kingdom.”

The last Cabinet meeting of 2022 was led by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. They talked about plans for the coronation.

Rishi said that the coronation of King Charles was “unique for the country.”

A spokesman for the PM said that Buckingham Palace was in charge of a “major planning event.”

The spokesman went on to say, “We expect a huge number of foreign heads of state and other international dignitaries, and the public will also be very involved.”

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan Markle may also be invited.
