All five victims of an attack at an apartment complex in Ontario that was apparently started by a disagreement with the block’s board have been identified by Canadian police.
In Vaughan, Ontario, three of the fatalities had previously worked for the board.
The board president claims he believes he was also targeted. His wife was injured, but she is expected to recover.
Police are still looking into the killer’s motivations, and they have not yet established that they were connected to the argument.
During the attack on Sunday, the 73-year-old suspect was shot by police and died in an apartment complex hallway.
The flags at city hall will fly at half-staff in remembrance of the victims, per the mayor of Vaughan.
- Rita Camilleri, 57
- Vittorio Panza, 79
- Russell Manock, 75
- Helen Manock, 71
- Naveed Dada, 59
Ms Camilleri was a member of the board and was in a romantic relationship with Mr Panza, according to local media.
Mr Manock served on the board and was married to Mrs Manock.

Mr. Dada was a member of the board and a local real estate agent in Vaughan.
A judge later referred to the suspect’s lawsuits against the condominium organisation of the building as “frivolous,” according to court records.
The day following the incident, he was scheduled to appear in court because he was being considered for temporary eviction from the building.
The head of the condominium board, John Di Nino, claimed that he was inside his residence when the assailant shot and killed his wife, Doreen Di Nino. She is anticipated to live.

On Tuesday, Mr. Di Nino told reporters that he thought the murderer was targeting members of the board.
The fact that the shooter approached our unit and specifically pointed his rifle at my family just strengthens my suspicion that it was a deliberate attack, he said.
Ms. Camilleri and Mr. Panza were acquaintances, according to Vaughan councillor Marilyn Iafrate, who described them as a “beautiful pair.”
She praised Rita, calling her “a true spitfire and incredibly brilliant.” “She was really methodical and thorough. Before joining the board, she was assisting residents.”
The local legislator continued, “Every board will be looking over their shoulder now.” “This was not fair to her. But Rita.”
Jim MacSween, the chief of the York Regional Police, described Ms. Camilleri as a “smart entrepreneur” with a “contagious laugh” and “zest for life.”
He added that she loved to cook and travel and that she was a loving daughter, sister, partner, and aunt.
The chief described Mr. Panza as a “proud Italian immigrant,” a “well-respected realtor” with more than 40 years of experience, and someone who “has a strong passion for music.”
Three daughters and seven grandchildren were born to him.
The National Hockey League franchise the Toronto Maple Leafs revealed that Mr. Panza was Victor Mete’s maternal grandfather.
The statement stated, “The horrible incident that occurred in Vaughan this past Sunday has shocked and saddened the Toronto Maple Leafs.”
Mr. Dada was a “wonderful son and brother,” according to Chief MacSween, who “always wanted to serve his community and help those in need.” Mr. Dada has lived in Canada for half of his life, he continued.
He claimed that Russell and Lorraine Manock were “devoted to each other and their family” and “soul mates.”
