“Loki” season 2: Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleston reunite with climax

  • Loki would wind up in the massive Marvel multiverse
  • Loki wound up in an alternate reality where Kang rules over the TVA
  • The new Disney+ teaser promoting the streamer’s many options for the year 2023

Loki would wind up in the massive Marvel multiverse ever since Loki wound up in an alternate reality where Kang rules over the TVA in 2021’s Loki Season 1. The new Disney+ teaser promoting the streamer’s many options for the year 2023, which provides us a fleeting glimpse at our favorite character, finally puts an end to our desire to learn more about Season 2.

Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, is introduced in the trailer as “this handsome fellow,” who appears to be undergoing another interrogation in a different TVA. The next frame shows Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, saying to Loki, “a little over the top, don’t you think?” It’s interesting to note that Hiddleston is pictured with two additional identical Lokis, which may be variations or projections. We got to meet a number of Loki incarnations in the first season, including President Loki, Alligator Loki, Old Loki, and Young Loki.

When the trickster tries to stop Kang, it will be interesting to see how many additional variations he encounters. At the very end of the trailer, Loki may be seen free-falling while dressed as a TVA prisoner in a blink-and-you-miss-it shot. Early in the teaser, we have another blink-and-miss glimpse of Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie looking upset or perhaps just plain bored.

Loki was “drawn through time” in a trailer released by Marvel Studios at the D23 expo, and it was stated that he had witnessed “bad, dreadful things.” The video also showed that no one in the new universe seemed to recognize Loki, but it didn’t take long for him and Mobius (Wilson) to reunite. However, this time they are up against Kang, the Conqueror, a more powerful multiversal adversary. In the video, Ke Huy Quan was seen acting as a TVA staffer, while Di Martino’s Sylvie and Gugu Mbatha-Ravonna Raw’s Renslayer are also returning in new guises.

The second season will undoubtedly continue where the first one did. None of the characters will be the same as we last saw them because of the time-traveling, multiverse-spanning plot that the series follows. Our first glance at Kang the Conqueror, or more precisely, his version known as “He Who Remains,” was in Loki Season 1 as well. In Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the multiverse has been further destabilized following the events of the first season. Given that Kang serves as the film’s primary antagonist, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will immerse us further in the Multiverse Saga’s battle.
