QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Azam Swati got relief as a court in Quetta quashed cases against him filed in the province.
While announcing a reserved decision, the court quashed all cases against Swati.
The case was heard by Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch. Three cases were registered against Senator Azam Swati in Vanderbela and Chaman.
Pertinently, five cases filed against Senator Azam Swati were dismissed earlier while three were dismissed today.
On the other hand, the court in Islamabad once again adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of Azam Swati.
As per details, newly appointed judge Azam Khan heard the case during which the arguments on the bail plea were resumed.
Swati’s lawyer Babar Awan finished his arguments today for the bail maintaining that the plaintiff is not the one who is affected by the tweet and it doesn’t constitute a case of contempt.
Later, the hearing on Azam Swati’s bail application in the court of Special Judge Central has been adjourned till tomorrow.
