On Friday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry unveiled their holiday card for 2022, which included a black and white image of the couple.
“Wishing you a joyful holiday season,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in the note, adding, “From our family to yours, and on behalf of our teams at The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archwell Productions, we wish you health, peace, and a very happy new year!”
However, the bottom of their card had one of its most important features, which caught more attention than the primary message.
Both of their autographs were on it, along with the phrase “Best wishes,” with both of their signatures. Underneath says, “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
As they criticize the royal family in their interviews, podcasts, and docuseries, some royal fans believe Meghan and Harry exploited their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex to disrespect their detractors and certain family members who want them to relinquish them.
Even after they retire as senior working royals in 2020, some claim Harry and Meghan feel proud to use their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
