Motorola ThinkPhone leaked pics show aluminium frame and more

Motorola ThinkPhone, which was earlier rumoured to be released as the Moto Edge 40 or Lenovo ThinkPhone, has been leaked online. The photographs demonstrate the design, build, and important specifications of the rumoured Motorola smartphone. However, the latest leak seems to suggest the forthcoming smartphone would be dubbed ‘ThinkPhone by Motorola’. The photographs reveal information about the alleged handset’s features, such as the display, build materials, camera arrangement, charging, and networking options.

TheTechOutlook obtained images of the Motorola ThinkPhone, which will supposedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. Tipster Evan Blass initially revealed details about a comparable handset, dubbed the Lenovo ThinkPhone, in October.

According to the source, the alleged smartphone will have an aramid fibre inlay aluminium frame measuring 158.76mmx74.38mmx8.26mm. Meanwhile, the phone is said to include a 6.6-inch OLED display (1,800×2,400 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate and compatibility with HDR content.

According to the source, the Motorola ThinkPhone could have a triple back camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone’s front-facing camera is believed to have 32 megapixels.

The photos also indicate the presence of key elements that could allow integration with Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops. This information, however, is blurred in the leaked photographs, leaving us with no idea what these features could be.

According to the 3C certification database page, a smartphone Motorola was recently tipped to launch as either the Moto Edge 40 Fusion or the Lenovo ThinkPhone in various territories. However, it is unclear whether the latest TheTechOutlook marketing photos relate to the same gadget in the 3C certification database.

It is also worth noting that neither Lenovo nor Motorola have officially confirmed the introduction of the rumoured ThinkPhone.
