King Charles will invite Meghan and Harry to his coronation

  • Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be invited to King Charles’ coronation, a report says.
  • Prince Harry and Meghan attacked the British royal family in their Netflix documentary.
  • It is unknown if the American couple would be ready to meet members of the family in person.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be invited to King Charles’ coronation, according to a report in The Telegraph published two days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attacked the royal family in the most recent episodes of their Netflix documentary.

According to the tabloid, if the couple chooses to attend the ceremony on May 6 of next year, they will be included.

Because Harry and Meghan were invited despite their criticism of the monarchy, the British royal family is likely to face harsh criticism from their fans.

It is still unknown if the American couple, who attacked the royal family in the documentary, would be ready to meet Prince William and other members of the family in person.

In brand-new episodes of their documentary series that were made available on Thursday, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan heaped more criticism on the British royal family, alleging that his older brother Prince William yelled at him during a summit to decide his future.

In the final three episodes of the Netflix series, Harry also claimed that William’s advisers had helped spread false information about the couple in the media and blamed the media for Meghan’s miscarriage. William is the current heir to the throne.

“It is a dirty game. There’s leaking but there’s also planting of stories,” Harry stated.  “So if the comms (communications) team want to be able to remove a negative story about their principal, they will trade and give you something about someone else’s principal.”

Harry added that he and William had witnessed what had transpired with the office of their father King Charles, whose first marriage to their mother Princess Diana had fallen apart in front of the cameras amid counter-briefings from both parties, and they had made an agreement never to repeat it.
