Nora mentioned on Instagram Stories that she was not raised by her parents to take advantage of other people.

On December 12, Nora filed a defamation lawsuit against Jacqueline Fernandez. In relation to a 200 crore extortion scheme in which the main culprit is the “conman” Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline and a few media outlets are the targets of her lawsuit for allegedly “seeking to ruin her name” and causing her to lose her job in the sector. Jacqueline’s attorney, however, claims that his client has never publicly criticised Nora Fatehi and that as a result, the issue of defamation should not come up.

In Nora’s defamation suit filed on Monday in a Delhi court, she said, “It has started to become evident that the aforementioned rivals being unable to compete with the Complainant fairly in the industry have started to try and tarnish her reputation which would cause her loss of work.” Jacqueline is listed as ‘accused 1’ in the suit.
Advocate Prashant Patil said, “Jacqueline has not made any statement in front of any electronic or print media against Nora or for that matter, any other person. She has consciously avoided talking about the Enforcement Directorate proceedings. Till date she has maintained the sanctity of law and because the matter is sub-judice she has always avoided to speak in front of print and social media. Having said that, we have not received any official copy of the suit filed by Nora. Once we receive an official confirmation or an order of the Honourable Court, we will respond to it legally.”
Nora had a brief appearance in the song Manike by Sidharth Malhotra in the movie Thank God. Ajay Devgn was also a part of the movie. She also performed a dance to the Jehda Nasha remix song alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. On November 17, the song from Ayushmann’s film An Action Hero was made available. Her upcoming project is the movie 100%, in which Shehnaaz Gill and John Abraham star.
