QUETTA: The series of filing cases against Senator Azam Swati of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) could not stop as the third FIR registered in Balochistan has come to light.
In the Balochistan High Court, a hearing was held on the plea for the quashing of two cases filed against Senator Azam Swati.
During the hearing, another FIR registered in Balochistan against Senator Azam Swati came to light, which was registered in Chaman.
When the third FIR came to light, the court expressed annoyance and remarked how so many FIRs are being registered in a single case.
Azam Swati’s lawyer Naseebullah Tareen said “We were aware of only two FIRs and the third one has come up today, we should be given time to apply for the third FIR as well.”
It should be noted that in the last hearing, the court had asked for the records of the cases filed against Senator Azam Swati.
Earlier, On December 9, the Balochistan High Court (BHC) had ordered to close of all five cases against Senator Azam Swati in the province.
In the Balochistan High Court, a hearing was held regarding the closing of the case of Senator Azam Swati, which was conducted by Justice Hashim Kakar.

The Balochistan High Court ordered the police to release Azam Swati while ordering to close all the five cases registered in the province.
