Meghan Markle remarked in Harry & Meghan that she was astonished by Kate and William’s formality behind closed doors, but a friend of the Princess of Wales tells she’s loving.
The pal says, “Kate loves hugs.” “She hugs and kisses everyone she meets. Her behavior is natural.”
Meghan recalled meeting Kate for the first time on the docuseries, saying she was “in ripped jeans and barefoot.”
Meghan: “I’ve always hugged.” I didn’t realize that bothered many Brits.
Added she, “I’d immediately see that the outside formality continued inside. You can be forward-focused, then close the door and relax. Both sides are formal. My surprise.”
Despite a surprising meeting between the brothers and their wives after Queen Elizabeth’s death in September, the brothers’ relationship remains difficult.
In a preview for the new Netflix episodes, Prince Harry, 38, said he and Meghan, 41, were treated differently than Prince William and Kate, both 40.
