LAHORE: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) – to probe the attack on Imran Khan during the long march at Wazirabad – has recorded the statements of three people including Punjab Minister Yasmeen Rashid.
The JIT headed by CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar has been investigating into the assassination attempt on Imran Khan.
Sources have disclosed that the statements of three people were recorded including Yasmeen Rashid, Zubair Khan Niazi and Umer Farooq.
On the other hand, the accused in the case, Naveed, was handed over to the JIT for 10 days to investigate the attempt.
An interim challan of the accused was presented by the police in which it was said that the motorcycle was recovered from the possession of the accused.

A case of illegal possession of weapons was registered on the complaint of the investigation officer Anwar Shah after 26 days.
