Bride arrives on ceiling-mounted movable platform: Viral Video

Bride arrives on ceiling-mounted movable platform. Weddings nowadays would be incomplete without some extravagant pomp and circumstance, décor, orchestrated dance performances, themed ceremonies, and epic bride arrivals.

That’s what it appears from extensively shared and remarked wedding videos on social media.

Simple entries for the husband and bride are no longer fashionable. Theatrics and stunts are performed to make the bride’s entrance unique and unforgettable.

However, not all types of entries are enjoyable. Not all submissions merit our praise and recommendation. One of them happens to be this.

A bride’s ‘over the top’ planned entrance has enraged netizens because it creates a risk of injury.

The bride is seen approaching the main stage while standing inside an oval-shaped platform hanging from the ceiling with cables, escorted by her father, according to reports.

Guests on the floor watched as the bride moved on the platform above them.

The aerial entry, allegedly performed at a wedding in Pakistan, enraged netizens when it was shared on Twitter by Fasi Zaka (@fasizaka) with the caption: “Please don’t let this become a thing.”

“We used to have shadis happening and photographs taken around and video being shot. Now we have a PR event where everything is being done for photos and videos and shadi happenig around it! Everybody goes thru the motions to later watch the shadi happening in a video!!” A user wrote.

“Maybe weddings are one way to assess who always wanted to be a movie star when growing up but never got the chance + opportunity. If Freud was alive, he would’ve taken note,” commented another.

“I’m torn. On the one hand you’re right, I hope this doesn’t catch on but on the other I’d love to see it when there’s a power outage and the couple are just stuck up there. Would be hilarious,” a third user said.
