Batsheva Haart Shares Her 2023 Dating Goal

Batsheva Haart is feeling more upbeat as the new year approaches.

The star of Netflix’s My Unorthodox Life, who will divorce her husband of nine years, Ben Weinstein, in November 2021, exclusively revealed why she’s looking forward to a new beginning when the year changes.

“My dating life is looking alright,” Batsheva said. “Not talking to anybody right now. As the holidays approach, I’m going to be doing a lot of travel, just focusing on my family, my friends, and enjoying this part of my life and then hopefully the new year will bring a new man.”

Season two of this Top 10 TV Netflix show in the United States saw Batsheva and Ben’s divorce play out quite frankly for the cameras, but it was something Batsheva knew they had to do.

“I felt good about it because we had shared our relationship on social media and on the show,” she said. “I wanted the opportunity to shed some light on what happened and to honor my relationship, because I know that there are times that people can see different things. I wanted an opportunity to set the record that we still have a lot of love and respect for each other.”

Batsheva added, “Getting married at 19, your values and what you want down the road may shift and that’s OK.”

The other members of Batsheva’s family were also vulnerable.

My Unorthodox Life’s second season began with Batsheva’s mother Julia Haart’s marriage to her divorced husband Silvio Scaglia Haart in disarray.

Batsheva said her mother also shared a similar sentiment about being “really open and authentic” as the cameras rolled.

“She decided to share with the world in order to inspire other people who are going through hardship that you can fight and you can get through it,” Batsheva said. “She just really wanted to show our family and how we all banded together in different ways to support each other and share that family value.”

Both seasons of My Unorthodox Life are available to stream on Netflix.
