Veena Kapoor, a veteran Indian performer, was allegedly murdered by her son over a property-related disagreement. According to accounts from Indian media agencies, Veena Kapoor, 74, was slain by her son in the Juhu neighborhood of Mumbai, India, using a baseball bat. Later, the accused dropped his mother’s body into the Matheran River in the Raigad area.
He “ended up killing her in a fit of rage” after they got into a fight over the plot. The Juhu Police launched their investigation, summoned Veena’s son and his servant the following day, and after a harsh interrogation, both of them confessed to their crimes.

On the basis of a complaint made by the security supervisor of the Kalpataru Society, where Sachin Kapoor lived, Mumbai police detained the accused, 43-year-old Sachin Kapoor, along with his servant. According to sections 302, 201, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the case has been filed. Veena Kapoor is widely known for her work in ‘Mitter Pyare Nu Haal Mureedan Da Kehna’, ‘Dal: The Gang’ and ‘Bandhan Pheron Ke’.
Nilu, who was shocked and devastated by the death of her friend and coworker, posted a message on Instagram explaining why the veteran actress was brutally murdered, apparently by her own son. During the interrogation, he revealed to the cops that he killed his mother in a fit of rage after hitting a baseball bat multiple times on her head. He told them that there was a property dispute was going on among them due to which he committed the crime and dumped her body into a river near Matheran in Raigad district.”
