Croatia wins the exciting match against Brazil via penalties and enters the Semi Final of current FIFA World Cup 2022. In the quarterfinal match between Brazil and Croatia, Croatia did a great job in the first half of the game to neutralise Brazil’s impressive attacking unit. Neymar and Vinicius each had opportunities to put their clubs in the lead, but their last efforts were off target and their teams were unable to score.

At the end of the first half, the scoreboard displayed a score of 0-0. Even in the second-half, no team could break the tie, forcing the game into extra-time. Right on the verge of the mid-way point of the extra-time, Neymar’s brilliance put Brazil ahead 1-0. Bruno Petkovic scored an equaliser with just a few minutes left on the clock, making the score 1-1. As a result, the game would be decided by a shootout using penalties.

That’s four World Cup wins in penalty shootouts for the Croatians, who are peerless from 12 yards. Gut-wrenching for Brazil and they will rue not seeing this game out after grabbing the lead in extra time.
