Meghan Markle accused her estranged sister Samantha Markle of misrepresenting their relationship in a recently released documentary series.
The Duchess of Sussex stated, “Suddenly, it felt like she was everywhere,” adding that she hadn’t seen the 58-year-old “for over a decade” and “just for a day” before Samantha made waves.
“I don’t know your middle name. I don’t know your birthday,” the 41-year-old former actress said in Thursday’s third edition of the show. “You’re telling these people you raised me, and you coined me Princess Pushy?
“I hadn’t had a fallout with her,” Meghan continued. “We didn’t have a closeness to be able to have that. And I wanted a sister!”
Meghan Markle and her mother, Doria Ragland, moved out of her father Thomas Markle’s home when she was 2 years old. The Duchess of Sussex stated that she did not recall seeing Samantha there.
“The last time I saw her that I remember was when I was in my early 20s,” said the former Suits actress.
The statement read: “Samantha Markle maintains that she and Meghan had a close relationship until 2018 and that the media fabricated quotes that have been attributed to her.”
However, Meghan and Harry appeared reluctant to expose any new royal family scandal on their highly anticipated show.
Omid Scobie, a royal writer and friend of Meghan, also tweeted about this, stating, “trashing, no bombshells, just their experiences (many already well documented) in their words.”
