- Your WhatsApp avatar can’t be used on Instagram or Facebook, but you can make a new avatar inside WhatsApp.
After a few months on Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger, 3D avatars are now rolling out to WhatsApp users all over the world. Users can now use these avatars as their profile pictures or as personalized stickers.
In a blog post, WhatsApp said that users could use customized avatars as their profile pictures or choose from 36 custom stickers that show different feelings and actions. The avatar stickers on WhatsApp look like the Bitmoji stickers from Snap or the Memoji stickers from Apple.
WhatsApp users will get lighting, shading, and hairdo textures over time. By going to the Settings menu in WhatsApp, users can make their own avatars.
The messaging app will also get a “Use Avatar” setting for the profile photo, which will let users use a virtual version of themselves as their profile photo.
Also, WhatsApp has confirmed that your WhatsApp avatar can’t be used on Instagram or Facebook. In the same way, you can’t use your Instagram or Facebook Meta avatar on WhatsApp. This means you can only make a new avatar inside of WhatsApp.
