KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has announced the winter vacations for schools and colleges in the metropolitan city starting from December 21, 2022.

As per details, all private and public educational institutions will be closed from December 21 to resume from January 2, 2023.

The decision is announced for all the schools and colleges in the city.

On the other hand, as per the directives of Lahore High Court (LHC) the provincial government has announced three-day off in the city owing to smog.

With the deteriorating environmental conditions in the district Lahore, it has been announced that the schools and private offices will observe a three-day closure weekly.

The announcement came following the hearing regarding smog in the region.
