Russian forces have launched a new batch of missiles in the direction of Ukraine, according to Ukrainian sources.
Air defence systems are active, but there is “no information” on how many missiles have been launched or shot down, the official said.
On social media, the regional governors of Odesa, Poltava, and Vinnitsa have warned that missiles are approaching.
Kyiv’s air defense systems are “working” around the Ukrainian capital as there is a “movement of missiles towards the region,” said Oleksii Kuleba, head of Kyiv’s regional military administration, on Telegram. He urged residents to stay in shelters.
Air raid sirens have reportedly been heard. There haven’t been any confirmed strikes as of yet.
