Even as Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna promote Pushpa: The Rise in Russia ahead of its December 8 release, there is already a lot of anticipation about its sequel. Pre-production on Pushpa 2 is underway, but filming won’t begin until the key actors return from Russia. Pushpa 2 will be released in India and Russia simultaneously, according to its producers.

Y. Ravi Shankar confirmed the news, saying “Exactly.” He said, “Few more countries will also be included as we go along in the process. (However), the first one to be finalised is Russia.” Russia will be finalised first. Fahadh Faasil played a key part in Pushpa: The Rise and will do so again in Pushpa 2. The sequel will have fresh actors.

Allu Arjun discussed Pushpa 2.“Genuinely I’m very charged up. I am very enthusiastic to shoot it because I am believing that we can give much more in part 2. Now they have set the base with part 1 and we have an amazing opportunity to explore the best in part 2, we all are in a mindset to give our best,” the actor stated.
