- Nathen, Willie Garson’s son, has fond memories of his father.
- The 21-year-old posted a picture from his adoption proceedings from 2010 on Wednesday along with a link to a charity fund established by Discovery Inc. and You Gotta Believe! in memory of his late father soon after his passing.
- A young Nathen may be seen standing next to Willie in the picture taking an oath in court. In 2019, on the ninth anniversary of Nathen’s adoption day, Willie shared the same image.
He posted this at the moment on Twitter: “27 January 2010 Day of Adoption. My son, happy anniversary. Dad will return from work, and then we’ll have a party. Your purchase.”
Willie always regarded being a parent as his “most important accomplishment,” and he shared the belief that everyone deserved the unwavering love and commitment of a family, according to the nonprofit organisation You Gotta Believe!

The fund’s earnings especially support You Gotta Believe”Nobody !’s Ages Out” project, which focuses on reunifying foster kids with their family before they turn 21.
Nathen talked about how his father taught him how to take care of other people on the one-year anniversary of his passing in September.
In a touching Instagram post, Nathen said, “He wasn’t just my father; he was my best friend and a mentor before I ever knew what that was.” “He encouraged me to be better than I ever believed I could be when I was younger, and as a result I aim to constantly do better.”
Added him: “When all I had ever known was to defend myself and only worry about myself, he taught me to love and showed me how to care about others. Even when he was angry or sad, he was always able to make people laugh and smile, and as I got older, seeing him do that inspired me to do the same.”
