Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are overjoyed about having a baby. Alia and Ranbir had a baby girl, whom they named Raha yesterday. Alia Bhatt discussed the name’s significance in multiple languages in an Instagram post. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, and other actors soon praised Raha. Samara Kapoor, Ranbir’s niece, also posted a beautiful message.

Ranbir’s niece Samara Sahni also declared her admiration for Alia on Instagram. Samara sent baby Raha hugs and love in a message. Samara’s Instagram story said, “I love u Raha (heart emojis) Lots of hugs from your big sister Sam,” Neetu Kapoor re-posted Samara’s Instagram photo.

Alia said that Raha meant “Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her – we felt it ALL!” Kareena said,  “Raha Kapoor can I hold you can’t wait,” and Priyanka wrote, “God bless Raha.”
