Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal will bring their electrifying dance moves to the upcoming song “Bijli.” Govinda Naam Mera is their upcoming film.
The first song from Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani’s new film, Govinda Naam Mera, Bijli, is set to be released on Friday. The film’s team teased fans with a promo video ahead of the song’s release. Vicky introduces Kiara as Bijli from Kolhapur in the song and promises the best of her dance moves. Mika Singh, Neha Kakkar, and Sachin-Jigar perform a special dance number in the song. It shows Kiara Advani in a plunging turquoise green choli paired with a pink traditional Maharashtrian kashtha saree that exposes her midriff. Vicky, on the other hand, plays the vibrant dancer Govinda in an energetic performance.
Sachi-Jigar composed Bijli, which Vayu wrote. Ranbir Kapoor is also said to make a cameo appearance in the song. Vicky Kaushal, who shared the song teaser on Instagram, wrote, “Get ready for lightning to strike! The new dhamakedaar tune of the season, #Bijli – song out this Friday at 11am!”
In response to the song’s sneak peek, a fan wrote, “Kiara got popular after doing Shershah! She is a true gem! Kiara’s everything is perfect! Vicky and Kiara are going to kill it in this song.” “Finally, Vicky in a mass song,” said another. Someone else commented, “Can’t wait to see Ranbir Kapoor cameo in this song.”
Shashank Khaitan, who has directed films such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Dhadak, directed Govinda Naam Mera. Vicky plays Govinda, a choreographer who is accused of murdering his wife, Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar), but there is no body. Kiara portrays his girlfriend and his extramarital affair.
The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16.
