  • Katie Nicholl of People thinks they “grew” as prince and princess.
  • After the queen’s death, three parents faced “rough times.”
  • Kate has stepped easily into a part with so much history and making it her own.

Since they got their new jobs, it seems like Kate Middleton and Prince William have a lot of “stress and anxiety” “behind the scenes.”

Katie Nicholl of People says that after becoming the Prince and Princess of Wales, they “stepped up to the plate.”

“William’s years of being mentored by his grandmother and his father have really paid off because the transition to Prince of Wales has been seamless,” Nicholl explained. “Kate has also effortlessly moved into a role with so much weight and history and is already making it her own.”

Since the queen died, the parents of three have had “very, very hard times.”

“I think behind the scenes there is a fair bit of stress and anxiety for all of the family,” Nicholl proposed.

“They seem very much in lockstep,” she added. “They’re a good supporting act, the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
