At 7:06 a.m., police and Israeli emergency services (MDA) reported the first explosion near Jerusalem’s entry. Israeli Army Radio stated a planted bomb triggered the blast.
Two patients, ages 16 and 45, with significant wounds were hospitalized, two Magen David Adom paramedics stated.
“We were at the MDA station near the city entry when we heard an explosion. Paramedics arrived quickly with ambulances, MICUs, and media cycles.
A 16-year-old was at the bus stop and a 45-year-old was on the sidewalk, they said.
At 7:30 a.m., police reported a second explosion at Ramot crossroads. Three minor injuries were reported.
Israeli police are looking for suspects in the two explosions, a spokeswoman said.
