KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) granted interim bail to the coordinator “Aslam Pirzada” of Member National Assembly (MNA) Makhdoom Jameel uz Zaman in the mega corruption scandal.
A bench of the Sindh High Court granted interim bail to Makhdoom Jameel’s coordinator Aslam Pirzada in Rs. 2.14 billion rupees corruption case.
The court ordered the accused to submit Rs. 0.1million surety money in the court. The court also ordered Aslam Pirzada to appear before the trial court within 7-days.
Aslam Pirzada had pleaded to the court that he was ready to be part of the investigation while seeking the court’s restraining order from arrest.

Earlier, Sindh High Court (SHC) was moved by Ahsan Adil Sheikh, son of Member of Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh requesting to stop police for the arrest of his father.
The petitioner is the son of a Member of the Sindh Assembly and Leader of the Opposition Haleem Sheikh. It was submitted in the court that several FIRs have been registered against Haleem Adil Sheikh in politically motivated cases.
It was requested by the court to obtain details of all the cases, investigations, and inquiries against Haleem Adil Sheikh from the police.
