The Punjab government decided to resume the services of Uber and Careem.
According to the details, SOPs have been issued for running taxis, according to which Uber and Careem will be able to drive taxis in Lahore.
The SOPs issued by the Punjab government, sanitizers must be present inside the taxi, additional masks will be available in the taxi.
According to SOPs, taxi drivers will be required to wear face masks and gloves, while taxi passengers will be required to wear face masks and use hand sanitizers.

In addition, according to government orders, the drivers of Uber and Careem will put two passengers in the back seat.
Under the SOPs, passengers with coughs and colds will not be allowed to sit in to the taxi.
It should be noted that the final permission to start taxi service to private companies will be given by Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Bazdar.
