- Prince Harry was unhappy playing “second fiddle” to his brother, Prince William, according to Spare.
- I can do whatever I want because I won’t have your responsibility.
- A broadcaster asked Harry how he felt about falling behind Prince George.
As the Duke of Sussex’s new book, Spare, says, Prince Harry was not happy to be playing “second fiddle” to his brother, Prince William.
On the November 3 episode of Palace Confidential, royal editor Rebecca English said that Harry “really enjoyed it” when he was younger.
Ken Wolfe, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, recounts how, once, in the car, Harry was acting up, being naughty, and William was trying to admonish him.
“Basically, Harry said, “Well, it doesn’t matter.” “You know, I can do what I want because, basically, I’m not going to have the responsibility that you will have.”

She further explained: “I remember, very clearly, when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born. I think it was Prince George, and Harry was asked by a broadcaster how he felt about going down the pecking order.”
“His answer, I think, was so illuminating.” He basically said “great,” as if it means he’s one step closer to “all of that stress, restraint, and responsibility that comes with being the heir to the throne.”
