Cole Swindell recounted how a music video with Courtney Little helped him and Courtney Little get along in an exclusive conversation at the 2022 CMA Awards.
Cole Swindell most certainly isn’t singing the blues when it comes to love.
The country singer’s girlfriend Courtney Little was by his side as he walked the red carpet and celebrated his two nominations at the 2022 CMA Awards on November 9.
After dating for a year, Cole admitted that getting engaged has definitely been on his mind.
He admitted in an exclusive interview, “I think that could happen,” “We’ll have to see. That’s something I’ve obviously thought about and I’ve just been waiting for the right person…It’s been nice. I’m happy. She’s happy and we’ll see what happens.”
Cole included Courtney in his sexy music video for “Some Habits” back in September 2021. However, the country singer revealed that they weren’t formally dating at the time.
Cole told, “I took a shot and asked her [to be in the video] and she said she’d be cool with that,” “That was kind of our first date having to act like it was a love song video and we didn’t really know each other.”
The two laugh as they reflect on the clip in the present and recognise how far they’ve come.
Now that we are actually together and feel the way we were acting in the video, Cole said, “we always laugh and say we wish we could go back and reshoot it.”
The couple’s chemistry was evident as they walked the red carpet at the CMA Awards. Before Cole revealed what’s to come in his music career, including a 2023 tour with Thomas Rhett, the duo kissed in front of the cameras.
Cole praised his potential tour companion, saying “He’s one of the best in the business and just a fantastic person, even more significantly.” I believe that things would be better if there were more Thomas Rhetts in the world.
Regarding the popularity of his most recent single, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” Cole is overjoyed to see that Jo Dee Messina and other country music fans adore it.
He declared, “She’s always been one of my favourite artists. “It’s been amazing to put my own spin on a classic like that with the original songwriters.”
