  • Mandy Moore has been cast in the upcoming Twin Flames Hulu series.
  • The Wondery podcast, is based on a genuine story.
  •  Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are now working on Twin Flames.

Mandy Moore plans to work with the former This Is Us showrunners once again, for her upcoming television project.

Moore has reportedly been cast in the upcoming Twin Flames Hulu series, according to source. The Wondery podcast, which is based on a genuine story, served as inspiration for the series.

It centres on two women who watch a couple’s online lectures. Everyone has a soul mate, the couple informs their audience, and they must go to any lengths to discover it.

The women choose to adhere to the couple’s teachings, which results in more risky circumstances. Moore will play an unnamed figure, according to the announcement. She will serve as the series’ executive producer as well.

Moore had a prior role as Rebecca Pearson in the NBC television series This Is Us, which ran from 2016 to 2022.

The Darkest Minds from 2018 and Midway from 2019 are some of Moore’s other prior works. Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who served as This Is Us’s co-showrunners, are now working on Twin Flames.

They will serve as the series’ executive producers as well. The executive producer and writer will be Rebecca Addelman. Executive producers include Adam Londy of The Walk Up Co. and Jen Sargent, Marshall Lewy, and Aaron Hart of Wondery.

20th Television, who previously produced This Is Us, will create Twin Flames. Moore has a contract with 20th Television through her production firm, Roll With The Punches Productions.

According to the agreement, Moore and Head of Development and Producing Partner Averie Joy Maikalima O Maku Huffine will create and oversee the production of television programmes for the studio.

According to 20th Television President Karey Burke, “Mandy is one of those rare and exceptionally talented artists who’s as brilliant on the screen as she is off, with a keen eye and natural instinct for uncovering fascinating material.”

“Working with Mandy over the course of her award-winning six years on This Is Us, cemented our desire to extend our relationship with her, and we are incredibly excited to develop projects together in the years to come.”

One of the additional programmes that Moore is executive producing for 20th Television is based on the Monica Corcoran Harel article “My Mom Had No Friends.”

The article details the real-life incident of Harel’s mother relocating to Los Angeles to live with her daughter and her family after the passing of her husband.

Harel decides to assist her mother in making friends her own age as she doesn’t have any in Los Angeles. This includes scheduling play dates and placing an internet advertisement.

Executive producing and writing the adaptation will be Harel. Huffine will also serve as the project’s executive producer.

Moore expressed her gratitude to everyone at 20th for their support and for providing her and her partner Averie the chance to continue their creative journeys with such a great group.

“I’m grateful to Dana, Karey, Sharon, Carolyn and everyone at 20th for their support,” Moore stated. We are ecstatic to be creating and producing several new series for the studio.

The Twin Flames Hulu premiere has not yet been given a release date.
