ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Egypt at the invitation of the Egyptian President on November 7 and 8 to participate in the United Nations International Conference on Climate Change.
The conference will be jointly chaired by Egypt and Pakistan as chairman and vice-chairman. The conference is being held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
As per the details, the conference on climate change will continue from November 6 to November 18. Around 90 heads of state and other delegations are participating in the conference.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with heads of various countries. He will also meet the Egyptian President to discuss issues of mutual interest, including the improvement of Pakistan-Egypt relations and joint dealing with the challenge of climate change, will be discussed.
Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman will also accompany the premier during the visit.
