- Ramona Singer hopes the newest “RHONY” cast wouldn’t try to imitate her.
- She doesn’t even recognize any of the new cast members.
- The season is scheduled to debut next year and production is anticipated to start this fall.
It appears that Ramona Singer is handling her departure from the “Real Housewives of New York City” just fine.
The seasoned reality star claims she doesn’t even recognize any of the new cast members, who have taken the place of her and several other cast members. She only hopes they don’t take after her. However, if they want to learn from her how to become an “icon” like her, they will have to pay her.
“I don’t know anything about the new cast. I love Bravo, but I don’t even know who they are yet,” she admitted to Page Six. I simply hope they are just as good as Sonja Morgan, and Luann de Lesseps, and I was, you know, just like the original cast.
Sai De Silva, a former creative director, Jenna Lyons, president of J.Crew, Ubah Hassan, a model and philanthropist, Erin Dana Lichy, an expert in home renovations, influencer Lizzy Savetsky, fashion publicist Jessel Taank, and brand marketing and communications specialist Brynn Whitfield are some of the new stars.
In March, Bravo revealed its plans to revamp the program and add a second “Legacy” program including audience favourites from previous seasons. In October, the Season 14 cast was unveiled at BravoCon 2022.
Singer believes it would be “the worst thing to do” if the new ladies watched old episodes of “RHONY” for advice.
“To do it would be the very worst thing in the world. People will be able to tell if you’re lying. Just be yourself if you’re seeing us on reality TV. I am not advising them as a result. I’ve never even met them.
However, Singer, 65, is prepared to lend her services as a “consultant” if they must rely on her for ideas.
“They are welcome to hire me as a consultant if they like. You can become an icon like me if you hire me as a consultant, and I will then show you exactly how to achieve it.
From 2008 to 2021, Singer, who played both friends and enemies such Dorinda Medley, Leah McSweeney, Eboni K. Williams, and Bethenny Frankel, appeared on all 13 seasons of the show.
On appearing in a cameo. “I have no idea about appearing in a cameo. My life is wonderful, and I love it. But I would say, “Be yourself. That’s good counsel.”
The season is scheduled to debut next year and production is anticipated to start this fall.
