“The Legend of Maula Jatt” which has become the most popular movie in Pakistan, was created by Bilal Lashari, who recently expressed his satisfaction over the movie’s popularity. The movie is doing well in theaters and has already made more than 150 crore rupees. The blockbuster classic Maula Jatt’s all-star cast and captivating real-life plot were successful in drawing an audience.

In a recent appearance on “Super Over” with Ahmed Butt, Bilal Lashari explained why he chose Fawad Khan over movie star Shaan to play Maula Jatt.

He said, “I think Shaan is best for the stories which are about a single person, in this, we needed the combination of two, I have worked with Shaan but I casted Fawad and Hamza because of the combination we wanted and also they were the new stars and we wanted to create a whole new thing”

He further added, “I had these two in my mind since the idea came in to my mind, as per Hamza, ‘at that time, even, we were not popular,’, I think they became famous just to make ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ this big.
