- Agnieszka Kalinowska, 35, and her boyfriend Andrzej Latoszewski, 38, have been found guilty of murdering their 15-year-old son.
- Sebastian Kalinowski was abused by his mother and her partner at their home in Huddersfield for a number of months.
- The minimum sentence for his murder would be 39 years in prison.
The mother and her partner have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of the mother’s teen son.
Before Sebastian Kalinowski passed away in August 2021, his wife Agnieszka Kalinowska, 35, and her boyfriend Andrzej Latoszewski, 38, tormented him at their home in Huddersfield for a number of months.
Following their trial at Leeds Crown Court, the couple was found to be responsible for the homicide.
Both Kalinowska and Latoszewski were informed that the minimum sentence they would receive for his murder would be 39 years in prison.
During the sentencing, the judge, Mrs. Justice Lambert, stated that it was impossible to watch the CCTV footage, which captured much of Sebastian’s abuse in the home, without being “completely and utterly horrified.”
She claimed that Latoszewski was a “bully” who was trying to frighten and intimidate Sebastian because he saw Sebastian as “easy prey.”
In her remarks to Kalinowska, the judge stated that she “just did not care” about what was taking place with her son.
