PTI Chairman Imran Khan has accused Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and an important person of being involved in the murderous attack on him and demanded the removal of them from their offices.

In a video message, Asad Umar said that Imran is fine and asked him to issue a statement on his behalf that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and an important person were involved in the attack.

Imran demanded the registration of FIRs against the prime minister and interior minister and a third important person.

They would launch a protest movement throughout the country if cases were registered against them, Imran warned.

Imran said that he already had information about such attacks.

Umar said that he had alerted Imran Khan of expected attacks and threats as such reports were coming.

Imran said that he was waging Jihad and would not withdraw from his stance, Umar said and added that Imran vowed to continue his fight against these thieves.

Earlier, the alleged assailant, who was detained by a PTI worker, said, “I only tried to shoot Imran Khan as he was misleading people.”

The alleged assailant claimed, “No one behind me, I am alone.”

He said that he had decided to kill Imran since the long march started from Lahore.

The alleged attacker said, “I tried to shoot Imran Khan on his own and I had enough punishment to kill Imran Khan.

He further said that he wanted to kill only Imran Khan and no one else.

He told the investigators that he came on his motorcycle, which he had parked a motorcycle at his uncle’s shop.
