RAWALPINDI: The 74th death anniversary of Naik Saif Ali (Nishan e Haider) was observed on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Officer Commanding Major General Muhammad Irfan Khan laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Naik Saif Ali Janjua.
A guard of honor was presented by the armed forces of the Pakistan Army. People from different walks of life, civil and military officials, and relatives of the martyrs participated in the wreath-laying ceremony.

Naik Saif Ali Janjua was a platoon commander during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.
He fought in the Kashmir sector and embraced Martyrdom on 26 October 1948 during the siege of Bhudha Khanna and received Nishan-e-Haider.
