Prince Harry seems to be in trouble after the streaming giant refused the Duke’s request to delay The Crown because he knows it may tarnish his father king Charles and stepmother Camilla’s reputation.
Even though Harry and Meghan Markle have a Netflix deal for their docuseries, The Crown, the network has reportedly refused Harry’s request.
Kinsey Schofield, a royal analyst, told Talk TV that Netflix sees Harry “as their employee” and not vice versa.
“He can’t tell them how to run their business.”
Netflix’s “ghoulish production” of Princess Diana’s 1997 burial may anger Royals. Season six’s burial scene was filmed at a decommissioned RAF installation.
Harry remains silent as he fears losing the lucrative partnership with the network despite many royal fans and analysts criticising The Crown.
The Crown’s latest film set photos are certain to stoke controversy ahead of its fifth season’s early November premiere.
