LAHORE – Umar Akmal, cricketer for Pakistan who played for the country’s national team from 2009 to 2019, has been hospitalised to a hospital.

Yesterday evening, the man, who is 32 years old, was transported to the hospital after experiencing a decline in his health. The right-handed batter is seen resting in a hospital bed in an image that was uploaded to his official account and shared with the public. Additionally, he asked his followers to pray for a speedy recovery for him.

Only on Twitter did the image receive more than 25,000 likes, with users of other social media platforms and supporters of Akmal sending their best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Umar is the youngest of three three brothers who all played international cricket for Team Green. His other brothers Kamran and Adnan have both played wicket-keeper battering for Pakistan at some point in their careers.

Throughout his career, Akmal participated in 16 tests, 121 one-day internationals, and 84 Twenty20 matches. Because he failed to report corrupt approaches, he risked being banned from the PCB. In addition, the person, who is 30 years old, was given a punishment of 4.25 million Pakistani rupees.
